The British Masters Poker Tour is back for a second year!

Last year the CBMPT paid-out over £475,000 in prizes, with over 100 players qualifying for their seat online.  In the end, Mark ‘The Threat’ Trett was the victorious tour champion, winning the £10,000 sponsorship in 2010. Could it be you in 2011?

As ever, we have a satellite qualification structure including three freerolls a week. Plus, new for 2010: three weekly finals, new VIP points tournaments, and ticket prizes in our new points league!

You can qualify online for a seat on the BMPT. Simply register with our poker room, and enter one of our daily qualifying ‘satellites’ – these can be found under ‘Scheduled Tournaments’ then ‘Special’ in the poker room.

In our ‘Per Live Event’ Leagues you can multiply your CBMPT points total by accumulating poker points in any poker game.  Collect as little as 200 points during the qualification period to earn your point’s multiplier. You can earn up to triple your point’s total.

Finally, winners of each of our six ‘Per live event’ leagues also get a ticket to a special online final to win a seat at the season-end play-off for the 2011 £10,000 sponsorship!

CBMPT points are earned as follows:

  • 10 points per entry into any $5.50 or $11 CBMPT satellite
  • 75 points per buy-in into any $80 CBMPT final

Per Live Event multipliers are earned as follows:

  • Earn 200 poker points to increase your CBMPT points total by 1.1x
  • Earn 500 poker points to increase your CBMPT points total by 1.25x
  • Earn 1000 poker points to increase your CBMPT points total by 1.5x
  • Earn 2000 poker points to increase your CBMPT points total by 2x
  • Earn 3000+ poker points to increase your CBMPT points total by 3x

(All poker points must be earned during the ‘Per Live Event’ qualification period.)

Important notes:

  1. * Package values in GBP and USD are based on the prevailing exchange rate of $1.51 = £1.00 as of 08/03/2010; this exchange rate and the value of packages will be updated from time to time and at the sole discretion of Gala Coral.
  2. Player is solely responsible for ensuring that the information registered with the account is correct. Verification may be required.
  3. Player must be 18 years of age at the start of the tournament(s) included in the package.
  4. Package is personal and may not be transferred unless specific approval is given by site.
  5. Packages are not refundable for cash.
  6. Player approves that the site uses his or her personal details for registration, administration and marketing purposes.
  7. Player is solely responsible for making sure he or she abides by dress codes, ethical rules or other requirements set by the event organizer.
  8. Player is solely responsible for showing up in time for the event.
  9. Gala Coral retains the right to change information about this event at any time.
  10. Gala Coral retains the right to cancel the event and replace the package with a package of equal value to another event of the site's choice.
  11. If player wins multiple packages, additional packages of the same type will, at the discretion of the site, be converted to another live event package of the same value.
  12. CBMPT league points are awarded based upon participation in paid-for satellites within the specified periods: weekly points based on Monday to the following Sunday; ‘Per live event’ qualification period based upon online satellites scheduled from the Friday at the start of the live tour event, until the Thursday immediately prior the next live event. Ticket prizes will be issued to qualifying accounts within 96 hours of the end of the qualifying period.
  13. ‘Per Live Event’ multipliers are based upon Poker Points accumulated in any poker game, including CBMPT qualifiers, during the ‘Per live event’ qualification period. Multipliers have no impact on the weekly leagues.  Poker Points are accumulated by playing ring (cash) games and tournaments.    Cash game Points are awarded to players at a rate of 3.25 for each dollar of rake an individual player contributes to a pot e.g.  If you contribute 40% to a pot that is raked at $3 you will receive 3.9 Points (3 x 40% x 3.25 = 3.9).  For tournaments, Points are awarded at a rate of 5 Poker Points for each $1 of tournaments entry fee paid, e.g. if a player enters a $10 +1 tournament, they will receive 5 Points. Playing as a guest or for fun does not earn the player Poker Points.
  14. Tickets to the special online final – to win a seat in the live end-of-season sponsorship play-off – will be awarded to each ‘Per live event’ points league. Players can only win one ticket to this online final; if a player wins more than one ‘Per live event’ points leagues, they will forfeit any additional ticket; this will be given to the second place finisher or next available non-prize winner in league.
  15. Failure to comply with any of these terms may - at the sole discretion of the site - lead to player forfeiting his right to all or some elements within the package such as buy-in and/or expenses.
  16. Player must wear any branded gear (clothes etc) made available to player at location or in advance.
  17. Player may not, while playing any event included in package, represent another site or sign sponsorship with any other gaming operation.
  18. All package winners will receive a confirmation email. Please ensure your account contact details are correct.
  19. The Poker Manager’s decision is final in all matters.
